How to Get Our VR Cardboard
HKUST CampusVR Cardboard viewers will be distributed as souvenirs for participants of activities and training workshops organized by PTC's Creative Media Zone (CMZ) in Learning Commons. You are most welcome to join these activities to obtain your CampusVR Cardboard and try the immersive experience of touring around the HKUST campus through m.HKUST app. You can also acquire the Cardboard viewer and download other cardboard apps through google.com/cardboard.

Viewing 360 Degree Videos
With Cardboard viewer and the YouTube mobile app, you can also watch 360 degree videos.

1. Open the YouTube app
   
2. Go to the 360 Video house channel by searching for "#360Video" and visiting the channel. You'll know it's the right one if it has this avatar:
   
3. Pick a video on the channel, and start playback
4. Tap the cardboard iconYou'll notice that the screen splits into two smaller screens
5. Insert your phone into Cardboard viewer
6. Look around to view the video in 360 degrees

Note: To use Cardboard with iOS devices, you'll need to have iOS 9.
